The Wild Wild West CONTINUED

Here we are now at Joshua's journal. We hope you enjoy the show! (actually journal)

The West is more fascinating than I've ever known to life! It's got so much places that I was crazed out of my mind! I finally chose 5 places. Hollywood,Pacific Ocean, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, and Mount ST. Helens! I learned a lot of each of them. I really liked the west. Here, I tell you about it more.

At Hollywood I learned that it was first called Holly Canyon, Hoover Dam cost 49 million to make, the Pacific Ocean provides seafood, oil ,and transportation, Mount St. Helens age of rock is more than 40,000 years old,and Las Vegas can get really hot! These are some of the facts I learned about in the west.

The West is pretty interesting and cool region. I wonder if I can stop by here again for vacation. One question I still have is why is there so much celebrities in California??? Is there like a curse? The " A lot of celebrities in California curse"??? I hope I can figure that 1 out and to see you on the next journal!!!

Starting the West

Here I am at Mount Rushmore about to take my first step in the west. I wonder how the west is different from the Midwest and what do they have in common. I do know some things about the west like there are a lot of volcanos. But I still hope I learn some new things about the west.
What I already know about the west is that there is a lot of farming too there.  Also, that there is Las Vegas there. What I want to know is who first settled there, is there any historical landmarks, and who first found gold in the West. On my journey I think I'll be able to answer those questions?
Where I want to go in the west are some cool places. I want to go to Las Vegas, Hollywood, where the gold rush was. and at Idaho to see the potato factories. My next part on my road trip will be fun and exciting. There, I took my step in the west! See ya later!

On the Midwest

I finally started my road trip in the Midwest and learned some things. I learned a little from the 5 places I've chosen. I have choose to go to the Chicago,The Great Lakes,Brown County State Park, the Gateway Arch, and Mount Rushmore. I learned a tiny bit from my grandpa because he took a road trip around the USA to.
1 hard thing about my road trip is planning my route in the Midwest. I finally decided and here is my route list. 1.Chicago 2. The Great Lakes 3.Brown County 4. Gateway Arch. 5. Mount Rushmore. I wanted to go to these places because I really haven't researched them except Chicago. The only reason why I want to go to Chicago is because it's a really big and popular city. I would recommend Chicago to anybody because it's an awesome place cause it has an estimated 2,896,016 residents, dozens of cultural institutions, historical sites and museums, more than 7,300 restaurants, and it has about 552 parks.
Anyway, When I went to Chicago( where I am right now) I learned about trading posts and about the Great Chicago Fire. When I heard the story I thought it was terrifying. A lot of people died and homeless. I'm glad I wasn't living in that period. Also, did you know that Chicago has 237 square miles of land? Wicked! Then, I was hungry so I went to Subway and got a 5 dollar, 5 dollar, 5 dollar foot longgggggggg. Anyway I was going to go to The Great Lakes but I couldn't because I didn't have time. That happened because a bunch of old ladys started kicking me for no good reason. Well, see you AH,STOP IT!!! next time!
